Neil Faint Campdraft Clinics

Build Skills, Confidence, and Partnership

Whether you’re a seasoned campdrafter or stepping into the arena for the first time, Neil Faint Campdraft Clinics provide the perfect environment to refine your skills and strengthen the bond with your horse. Held over two full days in the saddle, these clinics focus on building confident, capable partnerships, with an emphasis on safe riding and setting both horse and rider up for success—no matter your starting point.

Day One – Laying the Foundations
The first day is all about preparing for success behind a beast. Riders begin with dry runs of the campdraft pattern, warming up correctly and allowing Neil to assess and fine-tune each horse-and-rider combination.

Participants then pair up, taking turns as horse and “beast,” practising correct positioning to control and move the beast effectively. Focus then shifts to the cutout, with multiple runs on the flag helping riders improve coverage, sharpen turns, and develop precision in the camp.

Day Two – Putting Skills into Practice
With the foundations in place, riders move into real campdraft practice using cattle or water buffalo. Each participant completes multiple live runs, receiving real-time feedback from Neil to refine technique, timing, and strategy.

These clinics are more than just training—they’re an opportunity to enhance your skills, build confidence, and receive expert guidance from one of Australia’s leading campdraft coaches in a supportive and engaging environment.
